Dried beef jerky is a special muscle meat that dogs digest easily. The product is cut flat. The natural product has been gently dried and it goes without saying that no preservatives, colorants, flavourings or sugar have been added. One advantage of beef jerky over other treats is that it contains comparatively few calories. This means that even somewhat obese four-legged friends who have to watch their figure and dogs with less physical activity can be rewarded with this food. Dried meat encourages dogs to chew long and thoroughly. It not only keeps him busy and tastes good, but also cleans his teeth like a toothbrush.
